How to Zoom for your court appearance in Cook County Criminal Court
Zoom Instructions:
As most already know, Cook County Criminal and traffic courts have resumed court hearings through zoom. If you aren’t already familiar with the process, the steps below are to help you appear in court from your location and in compliance with your conditions of bond. Note: The grace period for issuing bond forfeiture warrants has expired in most, if not all districts.

1. Go to link above
2. Hit join meeting
3. Type in meeting ID
4. Type in password when prompted
5. Select internet audio (mobile devices)
You will be placed in a waiting room to be let in by the Court.
You should test this out before your court date., preferably at night when no one from the court will be tending the zoom room. You will be taken to the hosts message screen stating that the meeting has not started. You can then leave and sign out after that. This is how you will sign in on the morning of your court date.
For smooth acknowledgement, you should go to your zoom settings to enter your name for your screen profile. That way the court will be able to promptly identify you. Otherwise, some judges may not admit you, or kick you out of the Zoom courtroom.
